Privacy
Statement
Webnetad.com and its client advertisers
consider Internet user privacy to be of paramount importance.
Please find below detailed information about Webnetad's commitment
to protecting users privacy and to ensuring the Internets
integrity.
Webnetad.com does not know the name,
email address, phone number or home address of individuals to
whom we deliver advertisements on the Internet. All users who
see an ad from a Webnetad.com server remain completely anonymous.
Since we do not have any personal information
(names, addresses, etc.), we have none to sell, rent or give
away to third parties. The information that we do collect regarding
which ads a user views is useful only to the specific advertiser
who commissioned us to deliver their ads, and only in the context
of creative selection and effectiveness reporting.
Webnetad.com stores a random user number
in a "cookie" on each user's computer. Cookies are
small text files that a web site can use to store small amounts
of information (most of the sites you visit use cookies). Cookies
are not programs that are written to a users system that
can cause damage. The webnetad.com cookie contains no information
about you - only a random number with no meaning whatsoever outside
of the Webnetad.com system. webnetad.com uses this number to
track advertising effectiveness. One example of this is measuring
ad frequency; this helps us ensure that a user is not bombarded
with the same creative over and over again. Another example is
knowing whether or not a user registers for a service or buys
a product after clicking on an ad.
While we believe that cookies enhance
the Web experience for the user by limiting the repetitiveness
of advertising and increasing the level of relevant content on
the Web, they are not essential to our delivering the Internets
most effective advertising.
If you do not want the benefits of allowing
cookies to be written to your computer, there is a simple procedure
that allows you to deny sites from using them via your browser.
